Guest Andrea
Re: Funny stuff that happens hunting! [ QUOTE ] Yep, we did all of the above but I did not put in all of the little details! The tent was all torn down and we did call the DNR and the Cops and the people who lived in the area. A couple of guys even sat in the tree to see if they could bust him. But after he came home to no home I think he got the hint. Now there is cell phones and I do carry one but this was years ago and cell phone were far and few. [/ QUOTE ] Oh man, I would have left everything just like it was so the cops could see it. Gotten fingerprints too. Shame you couldn't catch him.

Guest Oneida1
Re: Funny stuff that happens hunting! At 5'9 and 105 lbs I get quite a few comments and looks when I go hunting. The ladies in the community think it is great that I hunt. But you men come up with the most stupid questions. Most want to know if my husband takes me hunting. Then are surprised that I go alone. They want to know what happens if I get hurt. What if the hubby gets hurt, I don't go with him to watch him, why should he watch over me. Then when guys find out I Bow Hunt, they ask if that is legal. They think I can't shoot a bow because of my size. Not only do I shoot and well, but I am an Archery Instructor for Cub Scouts. I have taught over 1000 boys in the last 2 years to shoot. And have seen a good variety of handicapped children. As of yet EVERY child that has the desire to learn has been able to shoot and hit the target. Why can't we be looked at as Hunters, not the Chicks that hunt. Most things that women like to do like shopping etc get on my ever last nerve. But take me hunting, fishing, or camping and I'm happy. Spring turkey season will be coming up next and I can't wait!! The wife last year after shooting her doe went back with the 4 wheeler and a bigger flashlight to look for it while I stayed in with our 3 girls, she was supposed to find it and then we were going to take the truck back so I could put it in the truck. She came back 30 minutes later with the mature good sized doe, that easily outweighed the wife, on the front rack of the 4 wheeler , this just a little over a month after having a baby. I told her that was kind of silly doing all that work getting the doe on the rack of the 4 wheeler, next time she needed to just come and get the tractor and pull her deer into the loader bucket . Guest TnLadyhunter
Re: Funny stuff that happens hunting! Impressive! I hook them to the four wheeler and drag them out. If I am worried about them getting mounted or something I get help.
