Guest Hunter36
Re: africam If you guys like the view from the camera i highly recommend saving for a few years and actually going there. I went a few years back and it was an amazing experience. tons of animals of all species and it hard to pick what you want to shoot. when i was there i had the cross hairs on a blue wildebeast and my dad had his on a impala. the impala won out and turned braodside first. Its unbelievable.
Guest Andrea
Re: africam My husband and I were invited to go in 2008, but unless they've built a BRIDGE from here to there, I am NOT going.

OJR
Re: africam There were several Cape Buffalo at the water hole just a bit ago. 3 big bulls! A couple of them did a little sparring, but nothing serious! That camera is pretty good to pick them up at night like it did!

M00N
Re: africam I believe they were zebra. I was watching them, too and just before they came out I heard a faint zebra sound in the background followed by sticks cracking and then they all came trotting out on the far bank. One paused for a few seconds, but other than that they kept on moving through. I had my recording program on and replayed the video and used the zoom feature and it looks shaped right for a zebra to me.

M00N
Re: africam Watching a herd of impala with a buck tending his does back and forth with a few young ones mixed in the bunch of females and a lone wildebeast that wanders in and out of the camera once in awhile right in the middle of them. I'm now officially addicted to this thing. lol
Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: africam Right now they're zoomed in on a mixed herd that's right in front of the house (hunting lodge?). I can see several people standing there watching the animals. Looks like they're maybe 150 - 200 yards away. I guess those critters are used to people and are fairly tame.
