Hoyt03
I would like to shoot some clay targets I just do not know where to do this at? I belong to a local club that has offical clay target shoots but i dont think I can go here and practice. I am planning on buying a clay thrower for this, and have a few buddies that are interested as well but we dont know where to go. Does anyone know if you can do this on state gamelands in PA? Or if it would be best to go ask a farmer somwhere if you could do it in one of his fields. After time this kinda creates a mess. I am really itching to start shooting some more to practice and have fun with some friends. Where do you go to shoot your clay birds? Tominator
Re: Where to shoot clay targets? I'm lucky, I step out my back door. You're welcome to come over if you want. Ask around, I'm sure you can find an open field somewhere, you don't need all that much room.
AJ
Re: Where to shoot clay targets? You need about 300 yards to keep the shot in check. I would go to a trap, skeet, or sporting clay range and ask if someone will give lessons. You will be much farther off than a bunch of novices getting together in a field to play.
