I guess you get to be the #2 team by scheduling Central Florida and Western Carolina. Look at the same team they both played Vanderbilt. Michigan beat them 27-7, Florida beat them 25-19, granted it is different from week to week but you get the hint. Maybe Michigan should schedule some VERY low division one teams and a division 2 team and blow them out. The barely beat a weak Alabama and Florida State teams. They lost one game by 3 on the raod to the number 1 team in the nation. Florida lost to an Auburn team that wasnt even close to the talent of OH ST. The Arkansas win wasnt even that great, and they are not even that great of a team. I do not really root for any of these teams, but from the outside looking in Michigan was at number 2 and should have played in the championship game. I got ohio state by at least 21 over florida. Heck the Iowa hawkeye game against Ohio state will be closer than the ohio state florida game unless the refs screw ohio state like they did iowa last year when they played florida. [/ QUOTE ] add in a Division I-AA school like florida did, thats how and chris..yeah we are going to gripe about it...do you think florida would have passed michigan to take over 3rd place if USC had won yesterday?? i highly doubt it, the voters didn't want to see a rematch, and its a shame they voted that way instead of voting for the 2 best teams to play... [/ QUOTE ] Central Michigan had a good team this year. Vanderbilt, hey florida played them too and barely beat them. Ball State, i would pick over Western Carolina or Central Florida. Either way, like my buddy Ohiobucks has been saying all along, it doesn't matter, I think Ohio State beats any team this year--if they don't let their big heads get in the way, that is.
