WABS
Got back from spending a week in MN yesterday. We had a party of five (me, three brothers, and Dad) and we filled our final tag last Saturday. Final tally was three with antlers and two without. None of the bucks were wall hangers, but being the final gun season in MN most of the "Wall Hangers" in farm country are either in hiding or at the taxidermist. I shot two of the bucks, one was a spike and the other was a small 6 point. Should have been an 8, but two points were broken off. I'll post some pictures as soon as I get them processed. Had an absolute great time hunting with my family. Hadn't seen my brothers in almost two years. Only problem was that the wind speed had more digits than the temperature :-) Most days it was in the single digits temperature wise and the wind was up around 20-30 mph. Makes for a tough hunt, especially since there wasn't any snow.
AJ
Re: Back from MN Sounds like a good time Dave! That sounds brutal, no snow and everything frozen, now I remember why I moved to the desert. Congrats on yet another successful hunt with your family.
