WABS
For all of you Omega owners I've got a question. This past week I was able to shoot my brothers Omega and found it VERY difficult to get a good sight picture. I seemed to have to lean my head way out over the stock in order to obtain a good sight picture. Definitely a lot different than my T/C Black Diamond, which needless to say performed flawlessly again this season. He has a laminated thumbhole stock if that makes any difference. Anyone else find this to be true??

WABS
Re: T/C Omega question? All three brothers had the same opinion and that was that the sights almost seemed too low what should have been the normal shooting position on the stock. I'd asked my brother whether he'd had anything modified he said no. Like I said he has a thumbhole stock that has a pretty high comb, maybe it's just us. Guest HaDeRonDa
Re: T/C Omega question? I have a thin face and have no problem. I do have the standard stock though. I prefer to almost mash my face in a stock too. I don't think I can help here so, my guess is that it's the high comb????

TurkeyHunter
Re: T/C Omega question? I use a scope on mine so never had this problem. Very intrresting however and would like to see others thoughts that use the open sights on the Omega?
AJ
Re: T/C Omega question? I think they use more shallow drop at the comb than the older style guns. That will allow a better cheek weld with bigger scopes. I know, some places and some hunters don't use optical sights, but most do. So they build for the masses. WABS
Re: T/C Omega question? Don't think our method for mounting the gun is the issue. I've shot enough guns in my life to know. I believe the stock is designed more for someone shooting a scope than for open sights.
