Yesterday I noticed that the deep freeze on our back porch was UNPLUGGED. When I lifted the lid I almost puked. I don't care at all about the lost peas and fish and other stuff, but I had 2 deer heads in there that I was planning on getting mounted very soon. My 9 point and my 8 point. They are ruined........ frown.giffrown.giffrown.gif

Very sad about it. Wonder if I can still make a Eurpoean mount with them. confused.gif

Im sure someone already pointed this out to you .. but you can very easily get new capes for them ... and that is what I would do ... should only cost you like 50 or 60 bucks for the cape ...

If the freezer still works, don't throw it away.

Donate it to Goodwill. There are folks who just needs freezers that work and don't care if they stink (IE. Bait shops, taxidermists...)

Then you can at least write off the donation value on your taxes at the end of the year wink.gif

Excellent Suggestion Leo!!!

DOH....sorry to hear it, Andrea. frown.gif

On a lighter note...

If you have a freezer on your back porch with deer heads in it...you might be a redneck tongue.gifgrin.gif

If you saw the size of my current house, you'd know why the freezer is on the back porch. smirk.gif That will be resolved soon............... wink.gif
