It was a long cold misserable day.The temp was -37'C with the wind chill. The morning pushes didnt produce a thing except frozen faces & toes.Just when we were about to give up we thought we would check a favorite slough bottom with hedges around it.There was a buck.He stood broadside out about 400 yrds.Boom & down he goes.My buddy was done. Then we see the big buck head out after the doe.Across the field they went. They say you can watch your dog run away for days here in Saskatchewan!Well we watched that big buck for along time.So over we go to tag & clean my buddy's buck.Load it in the truck & away we go to get on the big guys tracks. We bumped into some muley does so down goes one of those. My buddy tags it & loads it into the truck.Back onto the the buck tracks. It didnt take long & we found him laying in a ravine.Confirmation came from the guy with the binos & BOOM he tipped over right where he was laying.High 5's all around & then the doe bolts from the buck brush & over the hill.We had to drag him up the hill a bit then attached a 100ft rope & let the truck do the rest.

These are the only pics I have so far.I will post more when I get them.
