Guest Leadbuck
Re: Scopes I have used a nikon monarch 4 power on my encore for 2 years now, it has worked great. The monarch is very clear and for 240 bucks this is very nice scope.
johnf
Re: Scopes I would go with the Nikon or the Burris in that order.
njbowhntr
Re: Scopes I shoot a Burris FF II 2x-7x. It has great clarity, and falls right in your price range. In fact I shoot Burris scopes on all my guns. I have yet to use a better scope for the money.

A10acfan1
Re: Scopes I know the Nikon Omega wasnt on your list. I just got one. Its clear as can be and the 5" eye relief is absolutely great. Especially if you shoot magmum loads. Plus you have the BDC if you shoot long ranges. Definitely worth the extra $5o bucks. too_pointer
Re: Scopes Nikon Buck master 3-9 for most of my rifles. This is my opinion for you, lots of other scopes out there though to pick from ???? too_
str8shooter48
Re: Scopes Slugger, Check out the Sightron SII 3x9x42. I have one on my 308win Encore bbl. excellent clarity, bright and has generous eye relief. In my opinion it might be another to consider. I plan on ordering another for my 209x50 bbl. in the spring. Good Luck, there are a lot of good ones to look at. http://sightron.com/index.php?action=view_category&cat_id=1047413949
tedicast
Re: Scopes I have the Bushnell Elite 3200 on my ml'er. Great scope for the price. Out of all the scopes you mentioned, I would probably go with the Nikon. The Nikons have proven to be a little brighter in low light conditions in my experience. Hoyt03
Re: Scopes I would get the nikon prostaff 3x9 and take that 50 bucks you just saved and go do something else with it. With muzzleloading the prostaff will give you all you will need and want.

paul23
Re: Scopes I also had the Nikon prostaff 3-9x40 and I was impressed with it. I know you can pick them up for a reasonable price.

Widowmaker
Re: Scopes I have an omega and i just bought a Leupold Rifleman series that is made for shotguns/muzzleloaders and I only paid 179.99 through cabelas. It is a 3x9-40 Heavy duplex and it is free shipping and I got a free cleaning pen with it!
LETMGROW
Re: Scopes Someone has to step up for the Simmons. I have a couple of the Master Series. I would compare them to any scope available. Name brand doesn't impress me as much as good quality, reasonable price and great service if you do have a problem. I have compared my Simmons scopes to some high line scopes and I really don't see a difference in comparison to the money spent.
wtnhunt
Re: Scopes Got a cheaper bushnell on my ml, but if I had those choices, I would take the nikon buckmaster then the burris or the simmons aetec. The buckmaster in a 3-9X40 is a little bit brighter than the burris fullfield II. While I have not had an aetec, have had a 44 mag on my .270 and it was considerably brighter than the burris it is topped with now.
