Squirrelhunter91
I am in the process of setting up my bow all over again. I'm not going to go into detail about the problems of my set up, but the only way to fix it is to redo it. Anyway, I will be getting new arrows for Christmas, and I'll be having them fletched with NAP Quik Spin vanes. I'm also going to have a whisker biscuit put on and here is my question... Will the contact of the wisker biscuit bristles on the little "kicker" on the vanes have any effect on arrow flight? Does anyone have experience shooting the Quik Spins thru a biscuit? Also, if you have used the Quik Spins before but can't help me with my main question, can you tell me about your overall performance of the NAP Quik Spin vanes? Thanks for reading.. buckee
Re: NAP Quik Spins and Whisker Biscuit No Joe...don't shoot the quick-spins through the biscuit. They are too fragile of a vane and will just tear apart over a short time period. I've been there done that. Go with the Bohning vanes. They are super. Gator
Re: NAP Quik Spins and Whisker Biscuit I hear Bohning Killer vanes work REAL good with the WB. If you go on EBAY, look for a seller by the name of BULLSEYE FEATHERS, they have some REALLY good deals on vanes and feathers
VermontHunter
Re: NAP Quik Spins and Whisker Biscuit [ QUOTE ] Does anyone have experience shooting the Quik Spins thru a biscuit? [/ QUOTE ] Been there and done that.... DON'T DO IT.... As buckee has already stated the quickspins just don't hold up well going through the Biskit Rest... Bohning Killer Vanes or Speed Flyte Vanes works the best IMHO..

Pinwheel5
Re: NAP Quik Spins and Whisker Biscuit At the ATA show earlier this year the NAP guys told me any rest besides a Whisker Biscuit and the Whisker Bisquit guys said any vane besides a Quickspin. Go with the Blazer vanes. I have fletched dozens at the store and have not had any trouble with the WB.

revhard
Re: NAP Quik Spins and Whisker Biscuit well i shoot a WB and i have Quick Spin Speed Hunter vanes on ALL my arrows, and have never had a problem yet.. shot them all summer and all hunting season this year. and last year i shot the 2 1/2 Quick spin vanes with no problem either. .. if some one is having trouble with them, then they are not set up right.. thats my opinion. Guest nebraska_justin
Re: NAP Quik Spins and Whisker Biscuit I also shoot quickspins through a whisker biscuit. I think they shoot great. If they start to wrinkle a little just give them a dip into a pot of boiling water.
Squirrelhunter91
Re: NAP Quik Spins and Whisker Biscuit Well, thanks to Jason (Gator) I'll be shooting Blazers without paying a penny! Jason offerred to send me some Blazers because he had no use for them so I readily accepted and they are on their way over here. Thanks again Jason!!
