Bushman
I need some estimates or more to the point some reassurances. Only two days left and I'm looking for one of these guys. I wonder what they'll score? 1. Guy in the back, forked G2's? 2. 4 x 4? 3. Another 4 x 4?
Guest SRA
Re: Late Season Bucks...Score?? the last one is a big breeder deer that needs to be taken out....i would say he's pushing 140"...if at all possible don't shoot the forked g2 buck....thats the genes you want..... good luck! Strut10
Re: Late Season Bucks...Score?? I dunno............ I wouldn't mind having some of that last 8-pointer's genes spread around the Strut10 Ranch.
Guest bowhunter56
Re: Late Season Bucks...Score?? 130's-140's, nice tine length, doesn't look like alot of mass..
SaskMan
Re: Late Season Bucks...Score?? Smitty, I'll take 2 or 3. I know the bodies on the deer here can be deceiving, those last 2 bucks are over 140. Give them 23" beams, 23" of tine length and 16" mass....at least..... per side, throw 16" of air in and you've got 140. I think they're a bit better than that. Tominator
Re: Late Season Bucks...Score?? I tend to agree with Sask. Top picture, the one with forked g-2 would be tempting, but he lacks spread. Middle pic, I'd guess low to mid 130's, bottom, he's crowding 140's I'd say--he'd be the one I'd go for. Guest Broncho10
Re: Late Season Bucks...Score?? I agree, I think the 2nd and 3rd pic are of the same deer, if not they are pretty close. I would take the 8 point and let the forked deer pass, he will be a monster next year. I think the 8 will go ever bit of 140, maybe a little more. wtnhunt
Re: Late Season Bucks...Score?? Also think the deer in the second and third pics are the same deer. Would guess he would go into the 140's too.
Guest Finn
Re: Late Season Bucks...Score?? That bottom would be my choice, but I'd shoot the first one, too. I think that bottom one is over

Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Late Season Bucks...Score?? Assuming you have a choice, I vote for taking out the big 8 and letting the split G-2 buck walk. They're both mature bucks and either would make a great trophy, but that 8 point will likely be nothing but a bigger 8 next year, while the split G-2... Well, there's no telling what he'll look like!!!
Tom2008
Re: Late Season Bucks...Score?? Have to agree with Texan. That 8 looks like he is only going to be an 8 for the rest of his days. The split G2 buck can become a monster buck if you let him grow up! SaskMan
Re: Late Season Bucks...Score?? That split g2 buck is not very old 3 1/2 at best. I know b/c I saw him from a treestand last Saturday and he is junky and could be huge in a year or 2. Smitty is that big 4x4 the one that we're pretty sure I blew it on.?? Hoyt03
Re: Late Season Bucks...Score?? Agree that split g2 buck will be a dandy next year. He would be hard to pass though. If I got a shot at the last buck I'd take him, he looks mature.
