Guest Andrea
Okay, suppose you were given a free trip to Africa. You can hunt anything you want. What do you choose and why??

Guest TnLadyhunter
Re: Big game I would go after a Kudu for sure! I would also like a gemsbock. I like anything with long horns! I have to admit thoug, the little duikers look hard to hit and would be a real challenge. What about U?
Guest Andrea
Re: Big game I dunno if I could hunt stuff like lions and elephants. I just don't see the point. But if I were donating the meat to a needy family, then I'd go after kudo , gemsbok, eland, impalas, gazelle.
Guest TnLadyhunter
Re: Big game I'd also love to have a leopard mounted. The hunter hunts the hunter ya know. I have respect for the big cats and they are beautiful, but I am unsure if I could take something just to mount. I believe in taking things for food. mrswtnhunt
Re: Big game I would have to agree with TnLadyhunter, anything with big horns would be a trophy. Although, I would be somewhat chicken to hunt in Africa because some of the game over there could eat me. You know, like lions, tigers, etc... and elephants that could squash me. lol. I guess it is the fear factor that makes it exciting for some.
wtnhunt
Re: Big game A trip to Africa, hmmmm. Anyone see roadtrips where Waddell had the rhino closing in on him. The look on his face when he first saw the rhino was pretty funny.
Guest Loves_To_Hunt458
Re: Big game I would probably want to take a leopard, impala, or cape buffalo(not so sure about this one ) Those would look nice mounted
M00N
Re: Big game I'm not a fan of hunting elephants, rhino, giraffe, cheetah, leopard, jaguar, wild dog, or any of the other species of animals of a similar nature that have population issues. If I went to africa it'd be for antelope species only and only if I knew the meat wouldn't go to waste or be used to lure in cheetah, leopard, wild dog, or jaguar for other hunters.
