JakeE141414
I'm about to go buy a new ladder stand and was just wondering what would be a good one. I just want one that is reasonably priced and works well. Any info would be great. THANKS!

PAstringking
Re: Ladder Stands if you are keeping the treestand in the woods i would buy the cheapest one i could find. i usually wait until th $100 ones go on sale for like $70 and buy 2-3 of them at a time. if you are looking for a good one to only use once in a while...i would say the Summit Single Shot

nutz4bucks
Re: Ladder Stands Stay away from shooting rails if you are going to use it for bowhunting(speaking from personal experience) You see alot of tails when your bow hits the rails..but for gun yeah get the shooting rails for sure.i see some now have flip up rails boy that would be SWEET

Gator
Re: Ladder Stands I have 2 strongbuilt 15' ladder stands, and I REALLY like them. They are only about $70, and I can't justify spending any more than that for one. Only thing I need to do to mine is I need to make me a cushion for the seats........ For the price, they are REALLY hard to beat

I stand quite a bit (leaning against the tree) and standing in a ladderstand puts you too far away from the tree in the open.
PAstringking
Re: Ladder Stands i do love my climber for bow season but sometimes i cant justify taking my climber to a spot that i hunt regularly hunt. i think that climbers make to much noise in the morning especially hunting near bedding areas. i would rather put a ladder stand in the tree and forget about it.
