I have heard of carbon arrows doing things of this nature when you are shooting a draw weight to high for that particular arrow. I learned this right before the beginning of the season. I had a new string and cable put on my bow. The cable was a little to short for my bow and caused the draw weight to shoot up from 62 to 85 lb pull!!! Mind you I was shooting it for about a week or so before I brought it back for them to fix the serving moving. I found out then why the serving was moving. I also found out that my arrows were only rated for about 70 lbs. I was VERY LUCKY... no let me correct that...God was taking care things for me.
