uhhh.. Iowa ssshhh... wink.gifgrin.gif

Saskatchawan, Alberta, Montana, Colorado, Kansas, Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin.

seen a few nice bucks come from your home state of Oklahoma. see " Ranch Griz" for details. wink.gifgrin.gif

but your best bet to get a P&Y buck is probably Montana Milk River area.

ohh by the way there are not 170 class bucks behind every rock, tree and bush here in Iowa. just thought i would let you guys know that.. grin.gif if there was i would have one ! grin.gif

if i could hunt anywhere in the world it would be white co. illinois. there was a buck killed down there the second gun season that scores 210" as a typical 14 pointer. it nets 201" green.

I'm from IL and have seen so many big bucks in 9 years of hunting, it's not even funny. There is a place called Central Illinois Outfitters, here is their website

http://ciohunt.com/

I know Michael Waddell went there and killed a nice 150 in. buck. I love IL for the climate, the timing of the rut, and just the amount of big bucks!!!

Very interesting! I hunt in White County and my Brother-in-law told me had heard a big one was killed not far from his place (where i hunt). I will have to call him and see if he has heard anything else. cool.gif

Re: If you could hunt Whitetails anywhere.....

To be honest even though I only know them through posts on here I think I would love to go to Sask and hunt with superguide and his family. Just seems like a great family that knows how to hunt plus there might be a good deer or 2 stomping around in the bush somewhere.
