Guest robert34
I want to buy my 9 year old a new bow for Christmas. This will be bow number 3 for him. He has a 22" draw length and can pull back comfortably 40 lbs. What would you buy for him...? I want something that can grow with him... I am a little tired of buying bows for him. They just grow so darn fast! He wants to go out and hunt with it and I would like to see him nail a doe next season. Any Ideas?

Guest Deepwoods1
Re: Bow for a 9yr old I bought my son the Mathews Genesis for his birthday and he shoots all the time with me. He just turned four though, and the Genesis is really easy to pull back. For a nine year old, you might want to go with somthing like the Mico Midas. rhine16
Re: Bow for a 9yr old I bought a Martin Rage with a 40-55 draw weight when i was 12 because it was the only one that would give me enough growing time, now i have the same bow and have since put on a set of 60# limbs and now i have 70# limbs on it
Guest bowhunter56
Re: Bow for a 9yr old need to check draw length, the browning do have a 10'' adjustment range, and come in various weights.
TxBowHunter
Re: Bow for a 9yr old Be sure you watch out like Hoyt's bow (not bashing the brand) but when you buy it with the draw length it stays the same you can not adjust it without buy new modules and cam's..It cost my friend about 300$ to do all that. Guest Finn
Re: Bow for a 9yr old I bought my son a Browning Adrenaline in 40-50 pounds. It has 10 inches of draw lenght change and is a very solid bow. Recommend you check one in and good luck with your search.

Guest forsythe04
Re: Bow for a 9yr old the parker buckshot is the best youth bow on the market today. 18-28 inches of draw lenght adjustment on a universal pivoting module (no press needed). along with a lifetime warranty and quality products such as a black gold site whisker biscuit and bohning quiver. can start as low as 20-30 pd and are running a program where u can sent he bow in or bring it to ur shop and the limbs would be changed out to a 30-40 or a 40-50 for 50 dollars so the youth will not outgrow the bow. no cam change no outgrowing or anything... can you tell i sell them everyday hahah but really the best youth/womens bow out there
