Guest Andrea
Re: Black & White movies There's some really really good old movies. Betty Davis movies are great. I like ones like The Grapes of Wrath, To Kill A Mockingbird, I'd Climb The Highest Mountain, Ma & Pa Kettle series, Freaks, A Christmas Carol, I could go on and on........ Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: Black & White movies I like some of those oldies that were originally in b&w, but if I see something modern that's filmed that way, I avoid it. Today it's nothing but a gimmick the producers use to try to make the picture more "artsy".

Not fake. And Tatum O'Neal got an Oscar for that. ( Youngest Oscar winner ever at the time) HILARIOUS movie. I know it word for word. Guest Mountain_Dragon
Re: Black & White movies Black and whites are my favorites. "It's A Wonderful Life", any Marx Bros., any Humphrey Bogart, but most especially "Casablanca". Not to mention all those '50's B-movie horror flicks. wtnhunt
Re: Black & White movies Think some of my favorite black and white movies were probably the Abbott and Costello movies. Can remember watching a few of them with my grandfather when I was little.
