Strut10
Re: Pedersoli 45-70 Information My guess would be that it's a replica 1874 Sharps rifle made by Davide Pedersoli, Italy and marketed through Cabela's. In good shape, and depending which model it is..........I'd guess it should be worth from $700 on up. Just a guess. Does it look something like this??? Guest ronin
Re: Pedersoli 45-70 Information I own a Pedersoli and love it. Probably one of the better Sharps out there. Can you give a better description? Barrel lenth, round, octanganal, or combo, what kind of sights, checkered, straight stock or pistol grip, single or double trigger. I might be interested in it. EIGHTPOINT
Re: Pedersoli 45-70 Information It has a double trigger, the barrel is octagular to the end of the forearm then the barrel is round. The sight has different apetures for the front and the rear is a folding sight like the typical sharp rifles. If your serious about the rifle, PM me and we can talk further. I can E-mail a pic of the gun to you.

wtnhunt
Welcome to the forums. Might check gunbroker and compare what you have to what you can find there. Only other thought I would have would be to check cabelas, they have an online gun library.

Take what Cabela's is asking and subtract 20-25% to get a rough idea of actual value. Cabela's is VERY proud of their Gun Library inventory and the pricetags show it. The Gunbroker advice William gave you is your best bet, IMHO. Do an advanced search for completed auction and see the ACTUAL selling prices were........... NOT what they're asking for them. Would guess the gun library prices are likely twice what cabelas offers to buy guns from sellers for.
