TravisM
Re: Jim Edgar Panther Creek My buddy, my brother and I all went for 3 days and bow hunted in early October. I don't think that will help you much right now though. The most deer movement I saw was over in the "Controlled" areas. There are 3 "areas" that make up the park, The "Open", "Quail" and "Controlled" If I'm not mistaken, we hunted in areas C-21 & C-23 for the last day and a half, and that is when I saw a LOT of deer and turkey. I missed a doe and my buddy shot a doe. We didn't leave with much, but we did see a lot of deer! Good luck.

TravisM
Re: Jim Edgar Panther Creek Whenever you get there, make sure you go to the Site office and get a windshield permit! If you don't have one, you will get nailed. They are free permits and only take a few minutes to get, but they are required. And while you are at the office, ask the person that is helping you with your windshield permit, if you can take a look at "The Album". They usually keep it behind the counter. Anyway, that will answer any questions about whether there are big bucks out there! Good luck to you!
