Re: broadhead ?

I use the Montec 100grain heads. For me and my setup they fly great. they are a one piece broadhead! Go to a bow shop and ask how you can try different ones out or just experiment some and try them on your own.

Re: broadhead ?

I have been using mechanicals for several years now and they do wicked damage. I don't think them "not opening", was the concern so much as people were worried about deflection with shots from certain angles. That is simply avoided by purchasing broadheads that open rearward as opposed to over the top style broadheads. Good luck to you. Take a look at Rage and Rocky Mountain. Both great broadheads, and I can say from expereince, the Rocky Mountain Synper 3 blade are killin' machines!

Mechanical spitfires are awesome broadheads, Some people will always say mechanicals sometime wont open but that is MUD grin.gif. There is no way possible they could not open.

ok i agree that the spitfires are a great product cause they are made by NAP good company, and many of my friends shoot them and they are one of few mechanical heads i have yet to heard bad things about, but when you say that there is no way a mechanical can not open, i do not believe that cause i have heard a few stories from friends about how their mechanicals did not deploy during impact, their is always room for a malfunction if the blades are not fixed

[/ QUOTE ] uh...yea...i dont ever do any extra tuning with my muzzy four blades there buddy...pull the field point out screw the good ol muzz back in and it flys the exact same dead on
