FSU_Seminole
Re: Browning rifle Its several guys here who own Browning rifles, myself included. I have a Browning A bolt medallion in a 7mm Rem mag. It shoots winchester ballistic silver tips like a tack driver straight out of the box. Not to mention its probably the prettiest wood rifle I own. Shaun_300
Re: Browning rifle I own one, a Browning BLR in .300 WSM, I absolutely love it. Shoots great and very accurate. Dad has a BLR in .308 Win and my brother also has a BLR in .270 Win.

Strut10
Re: Browning rifle The Mrs. shoots an A-bolt .308 and I have one in .375 Wby. Both shoot very well. I'd avoid the Medallion trim on a serious hunting rifle. It's beautiful until it gets the first scratch or ding. Every blemish sticks out like a sore thumb & looks horrible on a Medallion. superguide
Re: Browning rifle My old BBR looks like an old soldier bluing is wore off-scratches all over it-one thing about those guns yoou know they've been hunted with lol. I'd love an A-Bolt in .308-Superguide Jr. and I are kind of collecting some of the old stand by's.

I have a Leupold 3-9 power scope mounted on it and took four Deer with it in KY this season. GREAT RIFLE & SCOPE!!

robk
Re: Browning rifle if your going to buy one then get you a 308 for your all around rifle. you won't regret it at all. the 308 is the creme of the crop my brother and i have found out my 308 is pretty adept and can handle factory loads pretty well but i went and started reloading i have me a super tack driver out to 300 yards so far rob k i don't shoot a browning but if i was going to buy another one i think the abolt is what i would go for easily
Guest gastj
Re: Browning rifle Have a South Paw Browning A-bolt Medalion in 7mm Rem. Mag. blued with the boss. Shoots great and the boss reduced recoil in half in my opinion. The stock on my Elk hunt took a toll on the stock. It shot straight and took down my bull at 300 yds. with no drop. Great Rifles
