tbone7213
I am thinking about switching from my WB to a fall away rest. Give me some input on which fall aways you all like the best. Thanks.
Guest Hunter36
Re: Switching to a fall away rest I have used the trophy taker and it worked very well. It does pull on your cables a little bit though. I now use a Limb Driver made by Vapor Trail. it is the same concept as a fall away but a cable hooks to your upper limb instead of your cables. the limb literally pulls your rest down. here is the website check them out!! http://www.vaportrailarchery.com/

AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Switching to a fall away rest I have a NAP 4000 quik tune and love it. Also have a Montana Black Gold Trap Door drop away as a back-up and it too works awesome. That rest works off inertia so no strings or cables needed. You will be impressed with a drop away, I was skeptic but now a beleiver in them!!

PAstringking
Re: Switching to a fall away rest i love my WB and want to know what are the advantages of changing to a fall or drop away rest? i always walk to my stand with an arrow nocked and found that the without the WB my arrow would be all over the place. i also hated holding my arrow while walking. i do less of the walking in and out now but still want to know why people are using these rests. thanks
wheelin99xj
Re: Switching to a fall away rest I swithched to a QAD rest. I love it full containment drop away so you lose nothing from your biscuit arrow can't come out once it is cocked. Will also stay up on a let down, only drops after shot great rest I hightly recommend it.
Chrud
Re: Switching to a fall away rest Check out Schaffer. Their rests "lock" on to the riser, so there is no movement. When you bolt on a rest you always have to try to keep it positioned correctly. With a Schaffer you just bolt it on and it aligns itself. Guest Hunter36
Re: Switching to a fall away rest Fall away rests are more forgiving if at the moment of the shot you tighten your grip or move your bow alittle bit. Also the Wisker Biscuts will cause a small amount of decrease in arrow speed and the drop away or like my Limb Driver (pull away) will not cause this loss in speed. Also easier on fletchings.
