Guest abking1275
This is my first time posting on this forum. I would like to share a photo of this buck that I got Sat. (12/16/06) afternoon. The buck was 5 1/2 yrs old and weighed 225 lbs. He did not have any testicles. [image][/image]

Guest abking1275
Re: 20pt buck I've been hunting for 25yrs and I have only seen one other deer that looked similar to this one and he was killed by a friend of mine. His deer was missing testicles as well. [image][/image] Here is a different angle
Shaun_300
Re: 20pt buck Welcome to Realtree! Weird looking buck for sure! Did it have the other part of the male plumbing? Never saw anything like that before.
Nick
Re: 20pt buck Its looks/sounds like you got yourself a doe. Usually when you get a rack deformed like that, its a doe.
OJR
Re: 20pt buck Welcome to the forums! That is one weird critter! Congratulatiions on getting it and taking it out of the gene pool!
Guest Danbo
Re: 20pt buck they loose their manhood while jumping fences or other items that can tear them off. System doesn't know when to shut down the antler growth without them. That is one ugly looking buck!!!
Guest abking1275
Re: 20pt buck He had all the other male organs! Just an empty sack! I did not see any sign of an injury. He had the package just no goods. I knew it was not a doe when I saw the body size. At least we don't see many does down here that weigh 225 lbs
Guest outdoorgirl
Re: 20pt buck You said you shot it on 12-16-06 still looks like it had some velvet on the rack that seems weird. That's a messed up looking rack and one to talk about for a long time. Congrats

Just out of curiosity, was his grunt really high-pitched?

Vagobbln, that is a perferct way to put it, and I did not hear him grunt. He was by himself and came out in the greenfield early like he was begging to be shot. Usually when you get a rack deformed like that, its a doe. [/ QUOTE ] That was my first thought until he confirmed it had a stick. Since he has no berries, he isn't producing testosterone and it's going to probably give it doe-like characteristics, including the unique antler growth. wtnhunt
Re: 20pt buck Welcome to the forums. Would have first thought the deer was a doe as well. Maybe there was an injury to the underside where the testacles had been. Without them no doubt the deers testosterone levels would be all screwed up. BrotherBadger
Re: 20pt buck Wow, what a deer. That is the weirdest thing i have ever heard of. My question is: Will you get it mounted?
Guest abking1275
Re: 20pt buck He is at the taxidermist right now. I have many larger typical bucks mounted, but I figured I would mount him anyway. Freaks like this one probably don't come around very often.
