Guest Mark117
I bought an Omega and after reading about lapping, have decided to do that. It states that after lapping I need to use a teflon based product after heating up the barrel with hot water. What is a good teflon based product to use. I am new to this so please help me out! Is this seasoning the barrel?

too_pointer
Re: Seasoning a barrel! Hi, good to see you. I have my Encore barrel lapped. I used NAPA grinding compound to lap.. then Rem. oil with teflon afterwords. I don't know about accuracy, but it is a cinch to clean. My Encore does shoot very accurate with 777 powder, and pb.bullets too_
Guest Mark117
Re: Seasoning a barrel! Thanks for the input, its tough starting out when you know nothing about it. It just seems to make it more of a challenge instead of an easy kill.
