okiedog
I'am looking to buy a new set of binoculars. I only have around $150.00 to spend, so I want to try and get the most bang for the buck. These will mostly be used for hunting, and maybe some 3-D. I would like a mid to full size, but would like to have the adjustable eye cups that screw in and out. I wear glasses and the rubber eye cups that fold down end up getting damaged. Also seems like there was a limit on some 3-D shoots as to how much power your binoculars could be. Anyone want to throw out some suggestions? EKYhunter
Re: Binocular help Go to www.theopticzone.com and look at their selections, especially the Nikons. This site has the cheapest prices I've seen.

EKYhunter
Re: Binocular help You're welcome. I can't remember all their prices but you can get some really good glass for that much money. FWIW I've got a pair of Nikon Monarch ATB's HDWG Camo 8X42 and their awesome glass. They also have a no fault lifetime Replacement guarentee.

ScottyLuck
Re: Binocular help Check out the Vortex line. I have a pair of 8x42 Sidewinders that are awesome. I compared these to a pair of Nikon Monarch ATB on the 3-D range this past season and there was no difference in clarity, sharpness and overall quality. The Vortex warranty is second to none and their customer service is top notch. They can be had for around $189. Check them out. They are a quality piece of glass! http://www.vortexoptics.com/
TKLambert
Re: Binocular help I was in the same boat that you are in now. I went with a pair of Bushnell Bighorns, made only for Cabelas. They were 129.99 and are 12x50. They have twist out eye relief also. Very good in low light conditions, very clear, and really brings everything up close. Even with that magnification, something at 10 yards away can be seen clearly too!! I have not found one complaint with them yet!!!!http://cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?id=0026458712016a&navCount=1&podId=0026458&parentId=cat601542&masterpathid=&navAction=jump&cmCat=MainCatcat602006-cat601542_TGP&catalogCode=XG&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat601542&hasJS=true Good Luck!
