Re: Tony Romo...

put him in Canton right now...no, but he is having a good year, and is 6-2 in those 8 starts, with pretty good numbers...

but IMO, these "all-star" games..no matter what sport it is, is a popularity contest...there are plenty of people that deserve to be there that don't make it because the fans vote for the most popular guy...

I agree. But once I start thinking, I can't name another QB from the NFC that deserves it more.confused.gif

Great point all there is to say is put up someone else ... or shut up ... I mean yeah he has better numbers then most of them that have played the whole season ... what is the problem with a pro bowl selection ... hes up for it ...

Re: Tony Romo...

The pro bowl is a joke anyway. Few people even take it seriously anymore, it's became nothing more then a popularity contest. Had the voting been 2 weeks from now we would probably be voting in Jeff Garcia as an NFC QB. He seems to be doing a decent job in Philly at the moment with 9 touchdowns and 1 interception and a 97 QB rating. I think it's an absolute joke that a guy with 8 starts was named to the team, whats an even bigger joke is the fact that i cant think of anyone else in the entire conference who is much better.

Hey man, who has the better record again? the colts or the cowboys? im pretty sure its the COLTS. tony romo has found nothing but some rookie luck. i mean heck, the kid lost to the redskins...the redskins!!!!!!! ouch.hes only played 8 games, thats it...quit acting like hes the next Roger Staubach, hes far from it. if hes so amazing he should be 8-0, with the NFC beng as pathetic as it is. i mean tony romo made the pro bowl, tony romo? who? haha go colts baby!

Re: Tony Romo...

uhh...its not like anyone is handing him the MVP right now..its the freakin pro-bowl...so he only played in 8 games...is it his fault it took his coaches that long to figure out that bledsoe sucked and they needed a change...he did what he was supposed to do, he came in and played and he is wininng, he is first in the NFC in completion percentage, yard per attempt, passer rating, and 2nd in yards per game...i think he deserves to be there as much as anyone....but like i said in my first post...these "all-star" games are a joke..and the Pro Bowl is the biggest one of them all...who even watches it??? i think it would get more attention if it were played somewhere other than hawaii every year, and even then i doubt it would be that entertaining

BTW, you play Detroit the last game of the season so you still got one more guaranteed win if ya cant get by the Eagles.

Yeah, 11-3, likely headed for 13-3 and at least a 2 seed in the AFC. Just beat one of the hottest teams in the NFL EASILY despite playing with 3rd string safeties, missing 2 DT's, 2 TE's and one wide receiver. There so bad they may only win 13 games this season. The one thing teams may have figured out is that they can run on this team when they are missing 5 or 6 starters on D.

Thats pretty significant isnt it lol ... I mean they can run AT WILL against them 3rd 4th or 5th string whatever ... I wouldnt call there last games locks by any means ... I think its funny how ppl turn subjects around like this when there teams not doing as good as they want ... record or not the Cowboys had Indy's number this year plain and simple ... oh and they very handidly wooped up on them also ... all I have to say is scoreboard ... Indy wont make it past the play offs its in Mannings bloos not to get there ... Cowboys probably will not make it either but when the year started nobody even gave them a crying chance ... guess that about sums it up ... nobody predicted the colts would loose 3 but certainly nobody predicted the cowboys would be where they are also ...

Not really, the only significant thing to me is this team will finish 13-3 and lock up at least a 2 seed. Thats pretty good considering the run defense. The first round bye should allow the Colts to get some guys back from injury. Getting last years Pro Bowl safety back in Bob Sanders will be a good start. The Cowboys beat them this year, so what? Indy creamed Pittsburgh last year too in the regular season and guess what happened in the playoffs? Not sure i would call a 7 point come from behind win in Dallas a "whooping" either. Im far more concerned with every single team that will make the AFC playoffs then i am with ANY team in the NFC. The champion will come from the AFC like it does every year.

Re: Tony Romo...

i 'd say parcell had him under his wing for awhile just waiting for the right chance to get him a starting position, and now that he's a starter he's won eight do i think he should go to the pro bowl, his numbers say he should, but so some think not, ive been a dallas fan all my life, you got to remember he's still young to the game, he's not a rockie but just has'nt playied the game, like some qb's have, but i think in a few years and he continues to put up them kind of numbers, WHO KNOWS THE DINESTY MIGHT BE BACK.
