Colts or no Colts...........he is a decent quarterback; but he doesn't deserve to go to the Pro Bowl.

[/ QUOTE ]

OK so who does then ... I mean everyone here says he doesnt deserve it ... well common who does ... jez you guys talk in circles ... put up a freaking name or please just shut the heck up .... your all pathetic ... just about every single one of you has talked in the same exactr circle ... someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? smirk.gif

i think he belongs there, he has the numbers to get there. and there is no one else in the NFC to put there..he may only be a "one year wonder" who knows...but if his numbers are good enough, and his reocrd as a starter are good enough...why shouldn't he be there for that one year?

Re: Tony Romo...

preacherman who's fault is that, parcells, he's been there waiting for his chance to play and show what he can do, and he's doing a pretty good job so far, just becouse he hasnt been a qb in the NFL for a couple of years as a starter. to say he's an 8 or 9 game wonder, and what happens next year will he be a 9 or 10 game wonder. i guess well see, or will we hear this next year, the wonder boy took them to the play offs

Re: Tony Romo...

sskybnd............not trying to be offensive.........but Tony Romo is not the only one of the Cowboys team........the have a very good defense, and somebody has to give him the protection that he has and that Jones guy that is a running back is pretty good as well.

It is just amazing to me how that everyone puts him on a pedistal; but I don't. I don't disagree with anyone about him being a great quarterback.......but he has yet to prove himself year after year. No, that is not his fault; but it is yet to be seen also. I wish him the best..........hope he excels...........seems like a good kid that has fun with the game.........I just agree with Parcells, himself, I am just not ready to send him to the Hall of Fame like most people are.

Re: Tony Romo...

The way I look at it,if Romo was good enough to go, so was Jeff Garcia. He's only started 4 games, won 3 of them, and help get Philly with a 29th ranked run defense back on the winning track. 9 TD's/ 1INT/96.3 qb rating. Very comparible numbers to Romo. Too bad the voting wasnt a week or 2 later. This just shows you what a joke the NFC is. 2 of the better QB's in the league at the moment have started 12 games combined all year long.

Re: Tony Romo...

i see your point, preacherman, and yes he does have the protection he needs to become a good qb, with out that protection who knows what his stats would look like, as for going to the hall of fame no i wouldnt put him there either, he's still young and does love the game well just have to see how he does over the years to see what kind of qb he becomes.

Re: Tony Romo...

Yeah, 11-3, likely headed for 13-3 and at least a 2 seed in the AFC. Just beat one of the hottest teams in the NFL EASILY despite playing with 3rd string safeties, missing 2 DT's, 2 TE's and one wide receiver. There so bad they may only win 13 games this season. The one thing teams may have figured out is that they can run on this team when they are missing 5 or 6 starters on D.

OOPS guess someone had that pegged wrong ... and who did they loose to ? ... doesnt look like texas has been to friendly to them this year ..... oh well hand out the Super Bowl I guess loosing to the worste team in the NFL gets you the automatic ring ... what was I ever thinking ... I would say once again ... the Colts are figured out ...

Who was that player the Eagles got rid of that Dallas picked up-what was his name -it escapes me-he seemed to have spit the bit in this game. Full maerks to Philly and Jeff Garcia-he made the big play when he had to.You know he learned how to scramble playing three down football up north lol.

[/ QUOTE ]

Your more then welcome to have him back ... in fact I would just give him to you ...

you don't have to like his attitude but he is still one of the best recievers in the league!! i wouldn't give him up! if he don't get a touch all game he frees up the other recievers because he is usually doubled up on just cause he is dangerous 1 on 1!! jmho

Yeah, the Colts lost, becuase they couldnt stop the run. Thats not exactly breaking news. They havent stopped it most of the year, and thats why they will lose in the playoffs. The only shot they have is for Baltimore to lose this week and the Colts beat Miami. I still think they can beat the Jets inside the Dome, but after that there done.

The Cowboys didnt look too hot either. In your opinion, who looked like the pro bowl QB out there? Romo or Garcia?? Like I said, Garcia should be there if Romo is there.

anyone who dates jessica simpson deserves to go to the pro-bowl lol jk

Im not positive, but i think he is hooking up with Carrie Underwood now. I remember after the Thanksgiving game, they asked him about Simpson, and he said he actually thought someone like Underwood was more his type. I noticed at the end of the game yesterday Underwood was in one of the suites, and apparently they were seen hugging before the game.
