MCH
Is there a secret to keeping your jerky from sticking to the dehydrator shelf?? I usually flip them after 4 or 5 hours and that works. But if I forget, I almost have to pry them off the rack.
wtnhunt
Re: Jerky Question Dont know, I dont usually have too much trouble with my dehydrator aside from the cleaning part that comes after the jerky is done.

Snipe
Re: Jerky Question I slice all mine...No trouble here with it sticking to the dehydrator.. You might want to spray a light coating of Pam on before you do some next time..

OJR
Re: Jerky Question I use a dehydrator and have some inserts that I got from Cabela's. They are plastic mesh and the jerky does not stick to them at all. I don't spray anything on them and the jerky comes right off. I also have some oven racks that I got at Cabela's and the jerky doesn't stick to them either. Just made about 10 pounds of it and now we are at the eating stage!! Sure is good!! LOL!!
