Has anyone shot the new Bowtech Guardian or Comander bows. I know of one person who shot them and said it shot exactly the same as the new mathews drenalin but with less hand shock. Just wondering on your guys' opinions.

Re: Bowtech Guardian

that's the same thing i heard too. at my local archery shop there was 2 mathews bow and all sold out of bowtech. with the bowtech guardian a price of 725 and the mathews price of 850 so unless your a diehard mathews fan most will go with the bowtech in my opinion because they shoot almost the same jmo

Re: Bowtech Guardian

Went to the bowshop last night and this is what I shot.....

I shot ......

Mathews Drenalin

Hoyt Vectrix

Bowtech Allegiance

I really like the drenalin. Felt great and was very smooth. I didn't notice any noise at all. It is a little weird looking but I like weird. The Hoyt, well lets say I just didn't like the feel at all. It was an XL but didn't care for the grip and just didn't feel good to me. The bowtech again got me thinking. It was super smooth and very quick. It had a crappy rest but I didn't base anything on that. He didn't have the new one ( the guardian) in yet but said he should in a week. I will wait and see what its got. I also am going to shoot the XT again and most likely will have a new bow in the next month or so. Right now I am leaning toward the drenalin but haven't ruled out going to the Bowtech, we will see.

Re: Bowtech Guardian

i have always been a hoyt shooter and just love the way they feel. when i shot the Vetrix it was amazing. the newer bowtechs are great too. i shot the matthews and didnt like them at all. i wish i had one shop that carried all of the different brands. i had to dirve all around town to shoot all the different bows.

but i will be going with a Vetrix
