DU_man_84
Re: double reed call dead meat is a great call i have blown one and i loved it but in my honest opinion i love my SMM and i would take another one over a dead meat any day, but the dead meat is a great call
dogdoc
Re: double reed call I've never blown the Foiles Dead Meat but I know a lot of the guys over at the Refuge Forum really like it. I blow a Cutt Down Timber Double reed--raspy little call. I really like it. Tough part of buying a call though over the internet is you don't get to try it first.. http://www.cuttdowncalls.com/duck-calls.htm
double_drop
Re: double reed call the foiled timber rattler as well is a VERY nice call along with the new spit tech series of acrylic calls from buck gardner.

Randy
Re: double reed call Everybody blows a duck call a little bit different. Try a bunch of different ones and see what sounds best. I've used a bunch of the "high end" calls and come right back to the good old Haydel Timber Cutter. Pick up a call and blow a "comeback call and some quacks" if they sound good that is really all you need.

[/ QUOTE ] i agree that you the comeback call can be deadly for ducks, but i would work on the greeting call and quacks before working on the comeback call
