View from Turtle Bay looking west. The famous Matsumotos market where you can get the renowned shave ice. It was pretty good, very sweet. Shore break at Waimea bay. Incredible waves. Most averaged 6 to 8 feet, but this one was at least 10 to 12 feet I'd say. The lifeguard on duty would occasionally announce when a big set was coming in. Wow! Waimea is a little bay where the waves roll in then, then out, and crash with another incoming wave. When the two waves meet, they tower up, then crash!
