maytom
My question is to all the people who wear eye glasses. What do you guys do to prevent fogging? Being 52 years old now, my eyes aren't as sharp at longer ranges, hence the eye glass question. I was considering having the Laser eye treatment done just so I wouldn't have to waer glasses while hunting!! What's your thoughts on this topic? okiedog
Re: Eye glass wearer question? I wear glasses. I have a little bottle of paste that I smear on the lenes to keep them from fogging. I don't remember the name of the product. Someone was selling them at a hunting show I went to. If I think of it I'll try to look at it tonight. Think there was a number on the bottle to reorder.
Strut10
Re: Eye glass wearer question? I wear glasses. But I keep soft contacts around for just that reason. I wear 'em in archery season & spring gobbler season when I'm hunting. I take them out when I'm done. I can't stand hunting with glasses on. Guest alex30808
Re: Eye glass wearer question? I just got contacts a few weeks back...just for that reason...I dont like wearing the contacts so I wear my glasses 99% of the time but got the contacts anyway just for turkey season!!! But to answer your question...I have no solution!!! Wonder if the "Rain-X" anit fog stuff would work?
Born2Hunt
Re: Eye glass wearer question? It's never been a huge issue with me for some reason. Years ago I used an anti-fog made for hockey face shields when snowmobiling and it worked well.

M00N
Re: Eye glass wearer question? I wear contacts while hunting instead of my glasses. Main thing is with contacts is try to blink often to prevent them from drying out from the wind. A few friends of mine had a tendency to stare too much into the woods and not blink often and their contacts ended up drying out and then they would blink and they'd fall out or irritate the eye. Key is to carry rewettening drops and use them every couple hours to keep your eyes fresh and confortable. I really want to get the laser eye surgery, but don't have the $$ at the moment to do so. Contacts to me are 10x better than glasses when hunting, especially when looking through a scope or in conditions that may fog or drizzle on your glasses and mess up your vision. LifeNRA
Re: Eye glass wearer question? [ QUOTE ] It's never been a huge issue with me for some reason. [/ QUOTE ] Me either. But years ago at the Harrisburg Sportsman Show I bought this pink square waxy stuff to prevent fogging. That stuff worked great! Naturally, I never found it again! silentgate
Re: Eye glass wearer question? I bought a small bottle of greenish paste from a guy set up at my local Wal-Mart a couple of years ago. It works pretty good. It's called World Optical Anti-Fog. www.world-opticalproducts.com
