Hillbilly
Re: muzzys they are great broadheads....but remember always to place your shot in the vitals. You do that and the muzzy's will keep working.

LifeNRA
Re: muzzys [ QUOTE ] They work and I hate to experiment. [/ QUOTE ] Never tried anything else. Then again my first deer with the bow, my butcher said he was surprised how that broadhead went through the bone it hit.
Dogg6
Re: muzzys I've been using them for the last 6 or 7 years and love them. I have used a lot of different broadheads over the past 23 years and I have had the best results with Muzzy.
Squirrelhunter91
Re: muzzys Muzzy's have been around forever. They were one of the original fixed blade heads around, if not the first. There's a reason fixed blade heads are compared to Muzzy's. They're just that dang good. Oh and I'm switching back to 100gr Muzzy's for next year after using the Slick Tricks this year. Not that I didn't like the Slick Tricks, it's just that I LOVE my Muzzy's. My first deer was taken with a 75gr 3 blade Muzzy.
wtnhunt
Re: muzzys Dont know that they are the best, but they definitely work well for me and I have no reason to try any other head. Really like the idea too that I can know that my practice blades fly exactly the same as my heads with the shaprened blades in them.
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: muzzys I think its the name and the fact they work. There are tons of broadheads on the market but guys stick with what works and Muzzy stands behind their products.
Straight Shooter
Re: muzzys They are a very good and reliable broadhead and that's is why I've stuck with them for over 14 years now. I know some situations where the hunter made a bad shot and not just using Muzzy heads, After which, they said that they are changing heads next year because it didn't kill th edeer quick enough or not all. 99.9% of the time it's not the heads fault, but it's the head behind the bows fault. We've all made bad shots as well as me, and I never wavered from Muzzy's. I did try out a different head this fall on one deer, but it was surrounded by Muzzy's in my quiver. I've taken 27 deer with my bow and all but one have been taken with a Muzzy broadhead. Other sites talk about durability, I got one head I've put through 5 deer and recovered 4 of them and it's ready to eat again for next season. All shots were pass throughs, I only changed the blades, checked the straightness on a spinner and put it back into the quiver. The one deer I couldn't find I hit her good on my side, but the exit side was back I guess and she didn't bleed much. I thought she was going to fall within 50 yards but kept going. I did make a two day effort tofind her, but no blood is hard to follow through a pine thicket. My fault not the heads.
Guest Finn
Re: muzzys They work and are much cheaper than most broadheads out there. Have tried many others, just keep coming back to Muzzy.

Guest navybowhunter
Re: muzzys I have to agree with all the above , I started off using Thunder heads and made it thru one complete season with them and just didn't seem like i was getting the right penatration.Without changing any of my set up as far as draw weight the MUZZY'S were sinking in to the target a extra three inches and the next deer season i shot one a little forward and went thru the nearside shoulder and out right behind the shoulder on the other side without a problem.I can set my bow up for my broadheads and not have to change a thing when swapping over to field points .The price of them are "The best bang for the Buck that is for sure". You see alot of guys trying to persuade you to try something else but you have to go with what your comfortable with also and you owe it to the animal to make it as quick and painless as possible .I dont know about everyone else but losing a deer becasue of no blood trail is the worst feeling i have ever encountered. Live every day like its your last because someday it will be !!!!
whitetailkiller
Re: muzzys muzzy's are bad to the bone!!!!!!!! they work...don't fix it unless it's broke ..as long as muzzy's drop deer i'll use them!!!! heck i needed some new muzzy's for tomorrow ,and i couldn't find any quickly,,so i had to pay$ 26.00 for 3 heads...i just had to have them for tomorrow,, and i won't experiment !!
