Knight 50 cal disc elite

Recommended Posts

I recently received a knight disc elite 50 cal, and am interested in trying it out. I normally bow hunt so this is new for me. There is a knight accessory value pack with it but the black sabot with lead bullet does not indicate the caliber or weight. Can anyone shed any light on this. Also, how many grains of powderis best? Thanks for amy help.

Re: Knight 50 cal disc elite

Welcome to the group.

The all lead bullets you have are either 260 gr or 310 gr. I don't know which ones they ship in the value pack. They are probably .45 caliber bullets that ride in the sabot to make up the difference to .50 caliber. You can weigh them or wait a couple weeks and call Knight and ask them directly.

You will have to try a bunch of different loads to see what shoots best in your DE. I have a pair of the DE rifles one in .45 cal and one in .50 cal. I have given a couple of my hunting buddies them for Christmas presents over the past few years also.
