Thats pretty much about it...nowadays grin.gif

It used to be a real pain in the butt to keep a twin cam bow in proper timing...Hence the popularity of a single cam bow today.

The Bows on the market today have alot of advancements in technology they simply didnt have 15-20years ago. Now pretty much anything you pick up and shoot will be a quality bow for years to come.

Find one that You like...and can afford...thats the important thing.

Re: What is the difference

When I was looking for a new bow and talked to a guy at Gander Mountain, I did find out different cams have a different feel at least. He said the rounder a cam or wheel, it's smoother to pull back where as the more oblong/egg shaped a cam gets, it's a little less smooth. I think it's true because I tried a bow there with rounder cams, one with not so round cams and there was a difference. My Hoyt has Cam & 1/2 and I love my bow so it all depends on what the shooter likes I think...
