Turkeygirl
I don't know how many of you ladies ever road your bike and fell off the seat landing on the bar in the middle on a specific bone but I figure this would be a better place to tell my short story, lol. I was working over at the college yesterday and had to take a desk from storage and put it on a dolley and wheel it to a dorm that will have 3 girls in it. So I'm almost to the room and turn to look at the door as one hand is holding the dolley and the other hand reaches for my keys. Next thing I know BOOM! The desk rams into the side of the door way and the dolley rams into me! That really hurt and now I'm bruised for it! I know the ladies on here will understand, lol, but I'm not trying to be crude about this, it really hurt! I forgot what it was like to fall off your bike seat onto that bar....until yesterday
Guest Andrea
Re: Ok, this is funny but not really.... Been there, done that. But it was when I was in jr. high. I can sympathize with ya Ruth. Hope the pain goes away soon. And be glad you aren't a guy. I can just imagine the pain being MUCH worse for them!!! M00N
Re: Ok, this is funny but not really.... I've done that many times while riding a BMX bike. It is not a good feeling at all. I agree with Andrea at least we're not men. For them it would been so much more worse. Though it is funnier when it happens to a guy, well not for him, but onlookers. Guest Andrea
Re: Ok, this is funny but not really.... I got a story worse than that!!! When my sister was in grade school, she slipped on the deck of our pool and landed half in the pool, half on the deck. My parents had to take her to the E.R. She was running and trying to do some kind of flip or cartwheel and did a MAJOR split. I felt so sorry for her. She was in incredible pain. That reminded me of the time I slipped on some ice at the hunting cabin. I didn't get seriously injured but pulled some muscles in my hip area and some really nasty bruises. I was glad I got my deer the day before that happened because by next morning I could not walk on that leg. It was sore for a week and a half. Those kind of falls can turn out really bad and dislocate a hip or even break one. I'm glad your sister was okay and I know her pain.
