M00N
Re: Who Is Thinkng About Turkey Yet??? I have been thinking about it since December 10. Went and reconditioned all my calls the other night. Checked my cabin reservations to make sure nothing fell through. Now just have to get my hunting partner's vacation time setup come the new year. I'm ready to go. Really want to get my first longbeard this year.

hobie
Re: Who Is Thinkng About Turkey Yet??? maytom
Re: Who Is Thinkng About Turkey Yet??? Me as well. Another thing I like to do at this time of the year is go through my entire vest and omit items that I don't really want to carry along, thus making my vest lighter in the process. I found out before this past spring that one of my prized glass calls was broken right down the middle!! Seems that on some wooden "pot" calls, they must expand and contract a bit during the season changes, thus cracking my call!! Yep, I'm anticipating the up-comming spring season as well!! Nut
Re: Who Is Thinkng About Turkey Yet??? [ QUOTE ] Who hasn't been thinking about it since the day after spring gobbler closed last spring?????? [/ QUOTE ] ditto for me also. I have some private land to go to that actually keeps turkeys year round. Our friend saw 47 there just a couple weeks ago. Then there is a new area that the access is going to be easier come spring. wtnhunt
Re: Who Is Thinkng About Turkey Yet??? Have been thinking about the upcoming spring season for a while now. Got a few spots I plan to try that I had not tried before. Still occasionally seeing the big tom with the ground dragging beard.

elnor
Re: Who Is Thinkng About Turkey Yet??? Unfortunately, I'm another one of those afflicted with turkeys-on-the-brain year round. I see deer season as an opportunity to scout for turkeys, and maybe put a little venison in the freezer. I've got it bad. Only 3 months and 4 days til my turkey opener! :-)
