[/ QUOTE ] Dear guy I don't know, I'm sorry if you think it distasteful of me to post that pic. I'm also sorry I find no sympathy for the monster on the business end of that rope. Maybe, if I try, I can one day be as forgiving as you. I just never imagined that a photo of a tyrant receiving his just desserts would be comparable with the murder of thousands and thousands of people. I now see the error of my ways. I beg of you forgiveness. Should you decide against my request, I guess my life will continue unchanged. Signed, Eternally Sorry in Ga. Tom2008
Re: Hahaha Its just my opinion is all. Everyone has right to there own opinion. Yes he does deserve this punishment for all of the innocent lives that he has taken away from this earth. I heard the news say that he would be dead by 9:00 P.M. and I just thought it was kind of sick to post up a time for someones death. Its like a countdown to his death and I don't see that as the right thing to do. Just last night my friend's dad told me that there was movie on google showing the hanging. I just kind of find it sick and a little disturbing.
OJR
Re: Hahaha If you find this disturbing, how about the thousands of bodies that are spread out all over Iraq that he was responsible for killing?? mike
Re: Hahaha forgive me if i offend someone.. but i can see the point where this shouldn't be posted! don't get me wrong i was the first to go look for this online. but this sight is built on the basis of being child friendly, family friendly, and politically correct or not a christian values web site. glad it got moved to the political room instead of the lounge! we need to make better judgements on what gets posted where, don't ya think! buckee
Re: Hahaha Put it this way, I'm glad justice was served..really glad, but I wouldn't want my kids seeing stuff like this. Death is no joke, even if it is deserved justice, it's still no joking matter, especially around kids, who have no idea what the man has even done to deserve this justice. buckee
Re: Hahaha [ QUOTE ] i'm not sure why and how the mods could even keep this up [/ QUOTE ] I'm not sure either, but I know I don't want to be called a Saddam lover. I didn't cheer when Saddam was executed. I was happy to see justice served so quickly, but My mind went from Saddam to the thought of over 2 million innocent people who were murdered and massacred under his orders and the evil that was involved in all of that. I wouldn't honor this man with a card of any kind, or a cheer, or a clap. To me, it's a time to be still and think back on all he has done to so many innocent lives. Steven
Re: Hahaha Ok guys, here's the deal. This man was a cancer on the world, our generation's Hitler. Pictured above is a living, breathing man. Look at him standing upright with his eyes open. He just happens to be a man that had 2 million people poisoned, shot and beheaded. As much as he was loathed in life, he should be mocked in death. You are free to disagree, but you will be wrong if you do.
Swamphunter
Re: Hahaha Did anyone watch Hannity and Colmes on the night of Saddams execution?? It showed video of bodies of women and children, and mothers holding infants lying dead in the streets from the gas or nerve agent he spread. Do I like seeing the pictures and video of Saddam hanging?? Not really...did I look for it though?? Dang right I did. I wanted to see it for myself to maybe help me realize that the scumbag did get what he had coming to him for what he did to those children. It showed a video of a mother face down on the pavement holding an infant that had its mouth wide open as if it was gasping for air...both of them dead and decomposing. Saddam did this...and he paid for it at the end of a rope. I still think he got off easy. Personally I don't see that image as offensive what-so-ever. I have seen enough of it though that I couldn't care any less if I never saw another image of Saddam for the rest of eternity while he burns in fiery ****. I hope to God his last thought before his neck snapped was what a horrible human being he had been.

M00N
Re: Hahaha I have to agree with Tom, mike, buckee, Michiganbowhunter_SQ2, and anyone else who spoke along the same lines as them. I don't feel posting links to the videos of his hanging, pictures of him dead, jokes about his death, or pictures of a suggestive nature of his death is a good thing to do. Why tempt younger viewers to go see what the picture is about when they don’t understand the joke and risk giving them nightmares or doing them mental harm? Yes, our children should be told about what he did was bad and what happened to him as a result of his choices in life, but they should not have to witness his hanging or be tempted to witness it. I’m not saying shelter them either, but not to terrify them and give them nightmares over it. This stuff does not belong on this website, in my opinion. You cannot control who views this forum. I'm not a “Saddam Lover” either by disagreeing with this post, that's silly to even suggest that or compare someone who speaks against a distasteful joke about someone's DEATH to a PETA lover. I don't think there is anyone on this website that in their right mind would support him and what he did in life nor regret his death, and if they are then call them a “Saddam Lover” if you please, but not those of us who are just speaking against the way someone displays news of his death in a distasteful way. We're just saying why bring it up here on this website and be so distasteful about it, why joke about death? He deserved to die, but the way people keep posting things like this on this site are giving him way more attention than he deserved in life, let alone death. This guy was a man of power and attention and the way you're portraying him after his death is actually probably fulfilling his attention wants in death. Parading around his death like this and finding it funny is actually very sick to do. Death no matter who it is to is a very sad thing and is never funny! Just breathe a sigh of relief that he cannot do his evil in life anymore and go back to your life. By acting this way you're actually letting him have the last laugh at all of us being unable to stop thinking and talking about him. Again this is just my opinion not meant to offend others that agree with this post, but meant to speak my mind since you were allowed to speak yours, too. johnf
Re: Hahaha I happend to be turn to fox news about 10 minutes before the exicution. Afterwords I looked up a pic out of morbid curiosity. I think those things have their place and if you want access you should be able to get them. I don't really think this is the place for them. I know that the majority of the things on this sight and even in the political room I wouldn't mind my kids seeing. That picture nor a link to the hanging should have a place here. Guest michael_bolton
Re: Hahaha Even though it was necessary to execute such a violent and evil man it shouldn't be something to look at the video of his death and be able to laugh and take joy in it. Being de-sensitized to violence and immorality is the first step in doing it yourself....not saying that the original poster is going to kill someone but I doubt Jesus would gather together a group of people promoting someone being killed, whether they deserved it or not.
