rossman
My brother, friend and I are pooling our money together to buy a electronic predator call. We narrowed it down to the FoxPro FX3 or the FX5. The FX3 is listed for $500 and the new FX5 is listed for $700. What we would like to know is what you think about the FX3 and the good and bad experiences you have had with it? Or anything else you may have heard. The FX5 is new so I doupt anyone has used it yet, but if you have, what do you think? Is it worth the extra $200 for the FX5 or is the FX3 good enough? Basically, which call should we buy, the FX3 for $500 or the FX5 for $700? The coyotes we hunt in NY are very warry and don't respond well to calls. But I was hoping they will to a better more realistic call like the FX3 or FX5. We appreciate your help. Thanks in advance!!!! --rossman
Squirrelhunter91
Re: feedback on electronic call, FoxPro FX3 and FX Ok.. Here's my take on what you should do.. I personally don't own an FX3 or an FX5, but I own the 416B and the Jack in the box decoy. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything Foxpro. Mike and Steve Dillon stand behind their product 100%. If you choose to buy the FX3, you can upgrade it to the FX5 later on. The only difference I see between the FX3 and FX5 is the sound storage capacity. The FX3 holds 32 sounds whereas the FX5 can hold up to 200. Like I said before, you really can't go wrong with Foxpro. I know what you mean though about these NY coyotes. I have hunted hard for 3 seasons now and still have yet to bag my first. Good Luck!! Hope my info helps.

jcwa
Re: feedback on electronic call, FoxPro FX3 and FX5? I own both the FX3 and the FX5. You can't go wrong with either caller. My advice would be to buy the FX5, you guys will love it. If you chose to buy the FX3, it can be upgraded to the FX5 for the difference in price. Guest Jeff_Thomason
Re: feedback on electronic call, FoxPro FX3 and FX5? The FX5 is really nice. The remote is much better than the FX3. You can scroll through all of your calls and set sounds as presets. It is really a nice call. Like the other guys said, you cant go wrong with anything FoxPro.
