Guest Xen
Re: Single Action vs Double action Autos i like the da/sa semi-autos... long pull for the first shot, then short pull on the follow ups. not a big fan of dao pistols, even though they have an even pull on all shots

bowana
Re: Single Action vs Double action Autos I agree with the SA/DA combo for general all round carry. But for true concealed carry I like the "locked and cocked" 45 auto. Here is my favorite carry rig. I should note that when I'm deer hunting I carry a Sig 220 in a shoulder rig. I don't like banging around my good 45's with exotic wood grips against tree stands. My 220 is a true blue work horse. I sent it to Sig and had the trigger pull shortend and the action hand honed. It is smoooth. Can you tell I like the 45 Auto. WE OFF THE PORCH BOYS DEAL IN BIGG THINGS!!

[/ QUOTE ] I absolutely love mine. I have the XD subcompact in 40S&W. It's a great CCW and very accurate.
