Turkeygirl
Oh my gosh, I have been so frustrated lately....I need a vacation...a real one. First of all I still don't know what I or God wants to do with my life. I've got my outdoor ed. degree but jobs are kind of seasonal and limted in the area, just don't want to move out of the area. My true passion lies in the medical field, preferably athletic training but I won't be able to get any fed. aid for another B.S. degree so I have to find an entry level Master's in athletic training if there is any hope. It's so hard and confusing and I havn't heard an answer from God yet....I just don't know Second of all, working custodial as a replacement supervisor is not a bad job, it's off and on, but the more people I talk to and see, knowing what they want to do, well it makes me feel, I dunno...like I have a lame job right now. This past week I had a student worked argue and disrespect me...I talked to the supervisor todat, they just got back from vacation, I didn't know this then or I would have done it, that I have the authority if she did it again to tell her to clock out and go home. This girl has been a royal pain in the butt....So I had to deal with that today and a supervisor was going to talk to her, without mentioning names but I'm sure at some point I'll see her and she won't be happy, lol, but too bad, you don't mouth off and tell your supervisor to do something that is part of your job. Maybe the lack of sleep I had last night doesn't help either....couldn't get to sleep then when I did was woken up by the dog barking at quarter to 5am, got up and walked him, went back to bed for an hour before getting up to work. So I'm going to go to bed now but I'll just ask you think of me in your prayers that God will direct me and that I can put more faith in Him and hear what His answer might be...could be it's patience... Turkeygirl
Re: I have to vent... I know in due time it will. I'm sure if I was one to venture out into the real world and go live somewhere with more job opportunities, I'd be better off, but I am a homebody, I love being at home, though there are sometimes I wish the opposite, lol, and I'm just not ready to fly the roost I guess. Would rather stick around home, helping my mom and commute to a job or a college with a Master's program

jbeck
Re: I have to vent... Ruth, I'm just going to give you some advise. If God is calling you to move from your area, would you still be listening. I can honestly say I wasn't in a hurry to go back to China, but I did pray about it and felt called to adopt again. I wouldn't pay the large expense it takes to adopt another child, but I will pay it to bring my daughter home. ( I'm not sure that makes sense) Keep praying, but remember. When asking Gods will, It may screw up our plans. Keep the faith, hang in there and prayers are sent.
mrswtnhunt
Re: I have to vent... Prayers sent. I was wondering what else in the medical field you would be interested in. I am a registered nurse and there is such a shortage. You would be able to get fed. aide for something like that. Just an idea. I love what I do. It is so rewarding. Currently I work in a nursing home, but the options with a nursing degree are endless. Anyway, just a suggestion. Hope it all works out for you.
