Will the Buckeye push the Big Ten/ SEC head-to-head matchup to 3-0?

Weren't the "experts" saying the SEC is the strongest conference in NCAA football all year long?

All this on a down year for the Big Ten too...You want to see good football, look north boys, look north.

They CHOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Out-played. smirk.gif

Jones ran all over Wisconsin. Over 200 yards I think. But McFadden didn't look like a Heisman runner-up. PJ Hill was held to under 15 yards for 50+ minutes. It wasn't a pretty game, but Wisconsin out-played Arkansas.

I agree with Muggs...want tough football, look nort. cool.gif

Re: SEC...the strongest conference?

Not this year. I think the issue comes in that from top to bottom, the SEC is considered a stronger conference.

I still can't believe the No. 6 Badgers didn't get a BCS bid. The BCS sucks, why take a number 15 Wake Forest or a No. 9 Louisville over a much better team?

OSU's offense ruled that game. Alabama couldn't stop them. They got lucky to lose by only 3.

Kevin, there's only one "OSU" hence...THE Ohio State University.

If you're referring to Okie state, please refer to them, as "the red-headed step child to the sooners" from now on. K? grin.gif

Re: SEC...the strongest conference?

What is the criteria for being strong? Many SEC fans think there conference is great because on any given day one team can beat the other. True. They have several good teams, but not great. When they get to the big leagues against other strong conference teams, they stand a good chance of getting beat. Wisc. has owned Arky and and Auburn in the last two years, West Va (Big East Champ) beat UGA (SEC Champ) last year. Penn State beat Tenn. OSU is going to beat UF, and we'll see if what happens with ND vs LSU tonight. Which LSU team is gonna show up? The one who beat Ky 49-0 or the one who took OT to beat Ole Miss? I'm not knocking the SEC. Out of 12 teams, they have some good ones. Their out-of-conference teams worth mentioning were Cal and USC, and maybe Ga Tech & Clemson. The rest were cupcakes just like the other conferences play.

Re: SEC...the strongest conference?

I agree with that statement........and so do the fans at Notre Dame!! But, I'm still crying over my Wolverines! We have all the talent in the world, but don't have a head coach that can win the big ones. I know you still have to win the big one tomarrow night (and, yes we Wolverine fans will be rooting for you)but, we have your number next year buckeyeboy!! Hennie and Hart are coming back.....just.....for.....you!!!! smirk.gif
