Born2Hunt
I am looking to buy a Remington VSF in 22-250. Anyone have any experience with this gun?
bowana
Re: Remington VSF Yep! I have the VSSF in 220 swift. I'm replacing the factory trigger with a Jewel trigger. That was the only sore point I had with the gun, but I'm a known perfectionist when it comes to my rifles....a bit on the picky side. The rifle feels good and shoots great. doubleA
Re: Remington VSF Yes, I bought one earlier in 06 in 223 Rem for a truck gun. I through a Leupold M8 12X fixed scope on it, fed it some cheap remanufactured soft points and she shoots ok. I havent tinkered with the gun at all yet, the trigger could use some work. So far I am pleased with it. Here are the first groups it shot with the re-man stuff, one of these days I'll do some load develpoment for it. LETMGROW
Re: Remington VSF Nice group. What range?
doubleA
Re: Remington VSF Letmgrow, thanks... The range was 100 yards and those were probably the 6-11 shots fired down the barrel. Like I said above I am pleased with the accuracy so far with off the shelf ammo. Now only if a snaggled tooth coyote would cross my path......
