nolanspawn
What age do you think this buck was? I didnt get a chance to see it in person, and just wondering if my brothers are taking mature bucks when I am not around. I havent taken a buck in 4 seasons becuase I have been letting even bucks like this one go in hopes of one that screams "MATURE" and big. I know it isnt the best picture to judge from. need2hunt
Re: What age?? Picture wise it's hard to age him in the back of the truck LOL. I think slughunter has it right though looks to be a 3.5 y.o. to me
Born2Hunt
Re: What age?? Can't tell in the truck but the body looks small. I would say at the most 3.5 or a real good 2.5.

Tom2008
Re: What age?? [ QUOTE ] Can't tell in the truck but the body looks small. [/ QUOTE ] Don't forget Texas deer aren't as big as your NY deer. He looks to be 3.5 or 4.5 its hard to age. Maybe if you could get a picture of the deer's teeth then we might be able to age better. PAstringking
Re: What age?? im gonna go with everyone else and say 3.5 the face is deceiving but in texas i think they dont get "mature" faces until 4.5-5 range nice buck though
wtnhunt
Re: What age?? I would say 3.5. Would be pretty confident in saying he is a 3.5 year old or maybe a small 4.5 year old.
