wtnhunt
Re: Night Vision gear?? Might check your game laws. My parents gave me a night owl monocular about 5 years ago or so, it was used, not sure where they got it from. I have played around with it some in the backyard out of season, but it has probably been in the box for the past 4 years. Not something I would have ever got myself. Dont think they are legal to have on your possesion when you are hunting here. Kind of raised a question I need to find an answer for about my handycam and the nightshot feature. SRTMO
Re: Night Vision gear?? I use a monocular with a head harness. As long as the IR source is detachable, it can be used here. I used it a couple times hunting before daylight so I would know if one was coming but, never had any luck because of the constant focusing to view objects at different distances. I don't use it anymore. I'd rather sit still instead of fiddleing w/the darn thing and use my eyes and ears.
toddyboman
Re: Night Vision gear?? I really dont care to use it to much during hunting. Just wanting to look into fields. I guess the only time I would use it during hunting would be as I approach my food plot to make sure I am not spooking anything.
