buckee
Re: HEY LUKE [ QUOTE ] wimp. lol [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, ya wimp ...LOL Did I tell you what happened when Scott and I were just leaving he top of the pass, on our way in ? We got to the top, and it was sheer ice. There were a few other vehicles parked up there and folks out of their vehicles looking down. One lady was taking pictures. Scott was really nervous about driving the rented "All Wheel" drive, because their was no mention of 4-wheel drive in the manual. He had specifically asked for a 4-wheel drive. Anyway, we sat there for a while, and Scott finally said, OK, I guess we're going to find out what this "All Wheel drive" vehicle can or can't do. We started down off the summit at a snails pace. We got down through the heavy snow about 200 yrds or so, and I leaned forward in my seat to look over the side, which was on his side of the vehicle. I sat back and chuckled to myself, and Scott said... "What" I said.. "OH nothing"...."I was just going to ask you what all them vehicle parts are over the bank there, but never-mind"

Only a few hundred yards or so, before coming to an abrupt stop against a boulder or tree or another vehical 4 switch-backs down

VermontHunter
Re: HEY LUKE Steve,, buddy what you're not understanding here is that at the summit of Cotton Wood, the goat path was snowed in making it unpassable, so Steve B. had to turn around on said goat path so we could head back down to find another route out.... and you have riddin' with Steve,, he has one philosophy,, straight ahead and full speed ....
