texastrophies
Re: atv mud tires? The hands down best all out mud tire is the Outlaw. But if you do much trail riding you don't want it. For a combination mud/trail tire you would do good with something like a Gator, Mud-lite, mudbug etc. They all get decent traction and ride decent on the trails. unioncountyslayer
Re: atv mud tires? [ QUOTE ] Still got the factory tires on my foreman. Have yet to get it hung with them. [/ QUOTE ] Well, no offense, but you're not going through some of the stuff I that I take mine through with mud tires. Stock tires are excellent for trail riding, but if you're wanting to tackle some serious mud, better put some different shoes on.
wtnhunt
Re: atv mud tires? Well, around the farm here, we do have a little mud, especially in the bottom. Stuff that a tractor or truck would bury up in a heartbeat. Thing to remember with a 4 wheeler is that they are light(well most of them anyways) and so long as you keep them moving, chances are good you will keep on moving unless you hit deep ruts from something with bigger tires that has churned up the ground where you will not get a bite. Better aftermarket tires or not, when you hit ruts deeper than your tires are tall, you are likely to get hung. I have had my bike a few times where I had to put it in 4wd and back up and go forward a few times pretty hard in ditches chasing cows, but nothing that had it stuck where I ever needed to pull it out with the tractor. Friend of mine brought his big yamaha over here a few years ago and buried it so bad I had to pull it out with my tractor. He had over sized aftermarket tires on that 4 wheeler . unioncountyslayer
Re: atv mud tires? Well, I've pulled more than one 4wheeler out of the mud that I have gone through with mine, and theirs having stock tires, that's all I was getting at. You have much better traction with mud tires in the...mud.
