elkoholic
This may belong in the political forum, but I do not think it will be read by enough people there. Right now my state's, and many other state's, governing bodies are in the opening week of yearly/biyearly legislative sessions. How many of you are even aware of issues (come on now, there were elections a short while ago) being discussed and have contacted your representatives concerning these issues. Not just hunting related issues, but those concerning education, taxes and spending, etc.. Most representatives have e-mail addresses which makes contacting them easy (sure, they do not look at all of them) and giving them a piece of your mind (so maybe you can't afford to give any away) may just get through to them. If you just state your point of view and back it up with facts (no personal attacks) it may make a difference and at least you gave your input. Let them know where you stand. OJR
Re: a voice to be heard I am well aware of what is being proposed on the state level! Most of it will never see daylight! One thing I am sure of that is going to pass is the increase in hunting and fishing fees!
wtnhunt
Re: a voice to be heard Needing to contact our state rep on a couple of issues. He might not be able to help, but never hurts to try, and might make me feel a little better expressing my thoughts too.
