Randy
I'm looking for a place to bowhunt pigs next year. I'd like to stay as far north as possible. Soooo, texas is kinda out of the picture. Anybody know any good guides around Tennesee or Arkansas? I'd prefer to keep the driving within 12 hours or so. Thanks. I'd fly but i'm chicken!! I said the only way I'd ever fly is if there were no other way to get to a hunt.

Leo
Re: Pig Bowhunting Outfitters?? Norm S has been there several times. I've been twice. There are also some good exotics to be had there. Though this is primarily a Hog hunting operation. I took this Ram on a DHNA sponsored hunt I took this Fallow buck on another hunt I was given by concerned relatives. This is a pict I took of two decent size boars from my pop up blind. These guys are probably 175lbs each. There are much bigger ones there if you can stand holding out for them. You can walk and stalk there if you choose (I decided that would be too hard on me.) The Tennessee hills are steep and challenging expect a work out. Don't miss breakfast or especially lunch (buffet style). Supper is a snack by comparison. Wear hunter orange, you won't be alone. The bunks are comfortable but bring earplugs to sleep because someone is gonna snore after walking those hills all day.
