dogdoc
Believe it or not this is the second time I've had to remove this 5ct diamond ring out of this dog's gut.

Believe it or not this is the second time I've had to remove this 5ct diamond ring out of this dog's gut. [/ QUOTE ] As evidenced by the staples in the lower part of the photo I'd think so. Looks like someone needs to be more careful with a 5k diamond

M00N
Re: A very expensive doggy snack..... Oh geeze! I'm so glad to have a dog that doesn't like to eat things that aren't food products. The neighbors have a dog that eats anything and everything that goes in its mouth. I've seen it gulp rocks out their flower garden, chew and eat sticks, rip up and eat parts of toys, etc. You see them constantly rushing it to the vet and back home with staples in its stomach at least once every couple months. It seems some breeds of dogs and certain dogs get this inability to determine what's a food product and what isn't and will eat the worst things constantly. We've lucked out, of our three dogs we've owned so far the worst one just had an addiction to ripping up paper things (IE: tissues, paper towels, paper money, mail, etc.) and never would eat them. We've yet to get one those garbage disposal type dogs that just will eat anything it puts in its mouth without hesitation to what the object is. I think I'd go insane with a dog like that. It's very hard to train that instinct out of them once they start doing that.
